The Martha Acosta A.C. Foundation is proud to announce that, for the third consecutive year, it has been awarded generous support from AASV Foundation (American Association of Swine Veterinarians Foundation), which will award two stipends for two of our best scholarship recipients to attend the AASV 2026 Annual Meeting, to be held February 28 – March 3, 2026 at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel, United States.
The AASV Annual Meeting is one of the most important international gatherings on swine health, production and welfare. It brings together veterinarians, researchers, students and industry leaders to share the latest advances in research, management and technology, driving global scientific collaboration. The AASV Foundation, for its part, promotes the professional and academic development of young people in the swine industry through scholarships, support programs and incentives that encourage continuing education and applied research.
Thanks to this support, the selected scholarship recipients will be able to attend the event and participate in academic activities, as well as compete with other international students to obtain the right to present their work in the poster session, one of the most recognized platforms of the congress.
The Martha Acosta A.C. Foundation reiterates its gratitude to the AASV Foundation for its trust and constant support, reaffirming its commitment to continue promoting agricultural education and the development of young talent within the sector.
As a highlight, in the AASV 2025, one of our scholarship recipients, Yaneli Hernández, was selected and winner to participate in the poster section, proudly representing Mexico and the Martha Acosta A.C. Foundation. Her achievement reflects the impact that this type of opportunity generates in the training of young talents in the swine industry.
