The 2025–2026 first edition of the Virtual Swine School has entered its final stage, marking an important milestone for this program led by the Martha Acosta Foundation, whose mission is to strengthen the education of students and young professionals interested in the swine sector.

During this cycle, 50 participants have been part of the program’s first cohort. Composed of university students, recent graduates, and professionals already working on swine farms, this edition has provided specialized content covering different areas of swine production, complementing their academic and professional development.

Throughout the program, participants have learned from industry experts, expanded their knowledge, and gained a broader understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the swine industry, fostering their professional development and commitment to agricultural education.

As the program approaches the completion of its first edition, the Martha Acosta Foundation reaffirms its commitment to agricultural education and to preparing the next generation of professionals who will contribute to the continued growth of the swine sector.
