The Martha Acosta Foundation reports that it has consolidated the group of students who will graduate this 2026 from the Virtual Pig Farm School program, marking a significant step in the fulfillment of its mission to strengthen the academic and technical training of future professionals in the swine sector.

The formation of this generation has been possible thanks to the support of strategic allies and donors who believe in education as an engine of development and who, with their support, have allowed students to expand access to specialized and high-impact learning programs.

In this context, the Foundation gives especial recognition to Dr. Laura Batista García for her valuable contribution as a donor of the Virtual Pig Farm School, whose support was decisive in completing the group of students that make up this generation. Thanks to her contribution, more young people have been able to access the program and move toward the completion of their training process.

Thanks to her extensive experience and track record as a leader in swine farming, Dr. Laura Batista García is actively involved in the program as an official mentor for the Virtual Pig Farm School, playing a key role in providing academic support to students. Her participation provides students with a solid foundation of practical knowledge and strategic vision, supporting them not only in resolving technical questions, but also in gaining a comprehensive understanding of production processes, making informed decisions, and analyzing real-world scenarios in the sector.

The mentoring provided by Dr. Batista strengthens the training process by connecting theory with practice, offering guidance based on experience, and fostering critical thinking, professional responsibility, and confidence in decision-making. This close support is essential for preparing students who seek to integrate themselves, competently and committedly into pig farming.

The Martha Acosta A.C. Foundation is deeply grateful to those who, with their trust, generosity, and commitment, make this achievement possible and reaffirm its mission to continue promoting agricultural education and strengthening the pig farming sector.
