For several months it began with the integral preparation of the Virtual Farm School project, a specialized course that will prepare students of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics to succeed in their development as professionals.
This project aims to maximize the level of knowledge of students regarding the various areas of study focused on the pig field through specialized training material aimed at generating continuous learning during the period of activities established in the program.
The population to which this project is directed are Students of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics who have studied the subjects of pigs within their academic curriculum or, failing that, have participated in the calls issued by the Martha Acosta Foundation. In conjunction with the basic requirements to be eligible for participation in this program.
The benefits that will be provided to students will undoubtedly be of great impact at the cognitive level since they will be able to obtain a wide range of specialized knowledge in the pig field, easy access to the platform that will be used since initially the whole process will be carried out virtually, they will obtain support and guidance from the team specialized in pigs of the Martha Acosta Foundation and in turn, they have the possibility of taking courses to obtain a valid certification in their CV.
Undoubtedly, a positive outlook is visualized before the start of the Virtual Farm School project, however the support campaign continues to sponsor this project and be able to achieve the objectives and goals proposed by the Martha Acosta Foundation.
