The Mexican Association of Veterinary Specialists in Swine, A.C. (AMVEC) announced that its LIX AMVEC National Congress Cancún 2027 will be dedicated to MVZ Martha Alicia Acosta Padilla, in recognition of more than four decades of participation, leadership, and contributions to the development of veterinary medicine and the swine industry.
The Congress will take place from July 13 to 16, 2027, at the Cancún Center in Quintana Roo, bringing together professionals, specialists, researchers, producers, and representatives of companies involved in the national and international swine industry, in a space dedicated to professional development, knowledge exchange, innovation, and networking.
The distinction bestowed upon MVZ Martha Alicia Acosta Padilla recognizes a career closely connected to the evolution of the Mexican swine industry, encompassing academic training, production, technological innovation, entrepreneurship, and active participation in organizations and specialized forums within the sector.
Throughout more than 40 years of professional activity, she has worked across different areas related to the swine industry. Her entrepreneurial vision and continued interest in innovation also led her to promote technological solutions applied to animal production.
Her career has extended beyond Mexico through her participation in specialized organizations, forums, and events related to veterinary medicine and swine production, maintaining an active presence in the exchange of knowledge and experiences that contribute to the strengthening of the industry.
