Fundación Martha Acosta A.C. reaffirms its commitment to the education and development of new generations of professionals specialized in swine production, proudly announcing the official approval by the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México to join as an institutional partner in the granting of two scholarships for Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science students interested in pursuing a professional career within the swine industry.

As part of this collaboration, the scholarships will permanently bear the names of Dr. Laura Batista García and Dr. María Elena Trujillo Ortega, in recognition of their outstanding professional careers, academic contributions, and commitment to strengthening swine production and veterinary education in Mexico. Although the scholarship recipients will change with each generation, the name and representation of both scholarships will remain as an institutional legacy aimed at inspiring and supporting the development of young talent.

Additionally, UNAM will soon begin the internal dissemination of the corresponding call for applications, through which interested students may participate in this academic and professional support program focused on encouraging specialization and long-term involvement in the swine sector.

Fundación Martha Acosta A.C. extends an invitation to the student community to stay informed about this opportunity and become part of an initiative that seeks to strengthen generational renewal and contribute to the future of the Mexican swine industry.

Likewise, we express our sincere gratitude to the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México for the trust placed in our institution for the development of this joint effort. We would especially like to acknowledge Dr. Rolando Beltrán for his invaluable management, support, and guidance throughout the process of establishing and consolidating this academic alliance.
