The AASV Foundation has awarded two stipends to veterinary students in Mexico to facilitate their attendance at the 2024 AASV Annual Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee. The winning students are: Lizbeth Camarena Monjaras and José de Jesús González Franco, active scholarship holders of the Martha Acosta Foundation.
Dr. Martha Acosta, CEO of the Martha Acosta Foundation, will serve as a guide for scholarship recipients Lizbeth and José during the congress, where they will be introduced during the AASV Foundation Lunch – AASV. The two fellows are currently members of the AASV.
Martha Acosta Foundation persists in educational evolution, wishing that its scholarship recipients can clarify, grow and achieve their educational objectives through educational diversity, reinforcing their professional direction towards the pork sector.
Working in conjunction with the objectives of the AASV Foundation who seek to promote swine veterinary medicine and encourage greater membership of international students in the AASV.
