On September 18, Fundación Martha Acosta A.C. held the Closing Ceremony of the First Generation of the Virtual Swine School at the Luz María Villarreal de Puga Auditorium at CUCBA.

The event brought together students, families, partners, representatives of educational institutions, companies, and organizations connected to the swine industry, who joined the students in celebrating the completion of this important stage of their professional training.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Regional Union of Swine Producers of Jalisco, OPORMEX, AMVEC, AMVECO, CUCBA, CUALTOS, Super Suino, Minitube, AgriPro Technologies, SISPro Inc., and Visión Porcina, among other partners and collaborators of the Foundation.

During the event, completion certificates were presented to the students, along with recognitions for the organizations and partners who contributed to making this educational project possible. Digital media outlets that have supported the dissemination of Fundación Martha Acosta A.C.’s work were also recognized.

he Magallón Mares Family, godparents of this first generation, represented by Mtra. Griselda Mares and Dr. Luis Manuel Magallón, joined the students on this special occasion and presented them with a commemorative gift.

As part of the ceremony, messages were shared by Dr. Martha Acosta, Dr. David Sánchez Chípres, representing CUPAM, and Eng. Víctor Guiza, from the Regional Union of Swine Producers of Jalisco, as well as by the generation’s godparents.

The day concluded with a gathering of students, families, partners, and guests, creating an atmosphere of celebration and recognition of the effort invested throughout this first generation.

For Fundación Martha Acosta A.C., this closing represents the result of a collective effort and the beginning of new opportunities to continue supporting the education and professional development of future generations in the swine industry.
